The goal of this department seeks to foster and support women/youth initiatives and a strong representation of women/youth voices in decision making and policy formulation while empowering them to become self-reliant and contribute to sustainable growth of their communities.
Promote Social Development programs
At NaDCoD, we take seriously the process where women, children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. We do this by identifying their various root causes and then taking action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes. This is achieved through our agriculture and entrepreneurship programs.
Volunteering/Internship programs
NaPCoD encourages youths who wish to do internship and or voluntary service in effort to improve on the entrepreneurial standards. In effort to fight against poverty and unemployment (one of the Sustainable Development Goals), NaPCoD most at times employs her volunteers/interns depending on interest, hard work and dedication
Philanthropy
A bigger part of NaPCoD’s female staff are in the philanthropy sector. NaPCoD has as major goal to render assistance to socially exclusive persons such as the disabled, orphanages, refugees and daily-live individuals as well. In effort to make direct impact by changing lives, NaPCoD offers free tuition fees, uniforms, text books and monthly tokens to selected pupils and students annually. Apart from donations, NaPCoD also where possible, renders training to enable these groups of persons acquire financial independence. As it is the policy of NaPCoD to include environmental protection in every aspect, during visits to institutions of these disabled/socially exclusive persons, NaPCoD often carry out clean up campaigns to make the environment habitable.
